    Hi Glyna,

I take appreciation marketing long, long before a friend or prospect becomes a customer. I do my best to show my gratitude even when my friends and followers leave an intelligent comment on one of my video blog posts.

I absolutely love connecting, making new friendships, and leading by example as a positive, proactive and grateful person. I am especially grateful that I can include You as one of the people who had positive influence on my life and business.

    Thanks so much,

Awesome video and keep up the good work!

    Glyna,
Relationships, Relationships, Relationships. That’s the key to living a full life. Yes, we’ve all heard about appreciation marketing in one way or another but as you said we have to be reminded. It’s far too easy to take for granted all the people in our life and not to let them know how much they mean to use.

Obviously, it must be a good book filled with nuggets of Gold if you’ve read it twice. I know for me when I find a great book I read it more than once too. Thanks for the reminder. It’s a good thing to keep in the top of mind awareness as we move forward in the new year.

Last thing left is a drive down to the bookstore and picking up your suggestion.

Thanks for touching on this very important topic Appreciation Marketing and for your suggested reading, it definitely sounds like a great book.

Showing your appreciation towards your customers, business partners, family and friends is so vital to maintain healthy relationships and yet it is something that I think everyone can improve on.

Tomorrow why don’t we make it a goal to sincerely thank at least five people for making a difference in our life and show them how much their love or their friendship or their business means to us.

Thanks Glyna for putting this at the forefront.

Thanks for the Appreciation Marketing. Too many a times we tend to be so laid back and not show our gratitude to friends and loved ones. We must make an effort to make it a point to let allow our counterparts be aware of our appreciations be it small or big.Its good that we have this book as a reminder of what we should not neglect in our daily lives. Glyna,

Thanks for the reminder of a very important key to happiness and success — appreciation. Expert success trainers tell us that if yo help enough others get what they want, you will get what you want. Most people want appreciation more than almost anything else. Believe it or not, for most people, appreciation and recognition is better than money.

Because giving appreciation costs us very little but it worth a lot, it is a good deal, and it is a win-win because we feel good about ourselves while we are making others feel good about themselves.

  25. Hi Glyna,
Thanks for the reminder of appreciating your clients, friends, and family. It is so important in today’s market to keep in contact with people and tell them how you apprciate them on a more personal level. Your ease on the video is something I am going to strive to accomplish. You make it look effortless.

  26. Being grateful is critical to our success in life, not to mention our business.

This was an excellent reminder, Glyna, of how our success is a composite of the assistance of those around us. We really need to acknowledge that from time to time.

  27. When you think about it, Appreciation Marketing is really a key factor in developing great relationships with our prospects/clients/customers. Expressing gratitude for ‘following’ you or become your ‘friend’ is the beginning of the relationships you are developing online.

This sounds like a great book Glyna and I am putting it on my list. 🙂

I like how you expanded appreciation marketing beyond business. I’ve been trying to teach my kids the 7 habits by Stephen Covey and one thing we’ve been doing at home is called the Emotional Bank Account. We created a box to represent the bank account and we’ve been putting in “deposits” which in essence is the appreciation that you’re talking about. We’ve become more conscience in thanking each other and giving compliments. The children love it and can’t wait to read their “deposits” every night.

    Hi Glyna,

Thanks for sharing this important topic, your great video and your passion. It is easy to see that your genuinely care about your customers, prospects and friends that are a part of your life and appreciate what they add each day to your life.

One of the best feelings is to be able to bring a smile to someone’s face and often times that can be done simply by saying “thank you” or “I appreciate you”.

No matter how self confident we are, we often need to be acknowledged and appreciated for what we do. Even for the little things that people take for granted. It takes very little time to do and the effect can last a lifetime.

It is one of the best ways to solidify a relationship and that’s what we need to do in order to have a successful business and life.

There is so much in this world to appreciate… I do not only mean in business … that it should be second nature to people…we need to change our thinking.

It is such a nice feeling when you show appreciation and the response from the other person is usually magic.

    Hi Glyna

We can only make our life and the lives of others better by expressing gratitude and appreciation for all that is in our lives. I even whisper or shout out gratitude for the smallest, seemingly trivial things like catching all the green lights on the way to an appointment! Expressing gratitude does not have to be an effort. It is a natural process that just feels GOOD. We are so fortunate to live in a world of abundance and to be able to express gratitude always. Nice post.
